About the Resnikoff Gallery:
Through a generous donation from Joan and Howard Resnikoff, the walls of the lobby of the Media Arts Center were refinished to accommodate the exhibition of artwork. In tandem with the art rooms, music practice studios, dance studios and performance center, the Joan Resnikoff Gallery has helped RCC’s Media Arts Center become a vibrant arts nexus within the Roxbury and greater Boston communities.
Our mission is to present challenging and diverse work that represents the broad spectrum of creativity, addresses political issues, expresses individuality and identity and is above all courageous and beautiful. The gallery is an academic and community space showing the work of local and international artists consistent with the college’s mission “to facilitate the success of our students in achieving their educational goals.”
